University of Georgia Dairy Science Club
Dairy Fun Night
Dairy Fun Night is one of the most awaited and anticipated events on campus! Thanks to everyone who came out and supported us at Dairy Fun Night! We had 13 teams participate in milk chugging, ice cream eating, heifer relay races, and heifer dress up, with an intermission for a milking competition between professors! All funds raised will go to the Georgia Dairy Youth Foundation. Congratulations to our winning team: “The Cowch Potatoes". This year, we were able to donate 200 pounds of food to Northeast Georgia food bank. Thanks to our awesome club members, volunteers and professors for helping out! For many, including some of our competing professors, this is their first time interacting with a cow, and we do our best to make sure everyone has fun! Along with this being a really fun event for our members to plan, this is also a HUGE philanthropic event for the UGA DSC. Each year, the money required to sign up and participate is donated to the Georgia Dairy Youth Foundation which supports young men and women with an interest in the dairy industry.
