In May 2023, we hosted our second annual Calf Cuddling event on Myers Quad! Our members halter broke four calves from the UGA Teaching Dairy for stressed UGA students to cuddle during finals week. While the students did take a break from studying, they still learned facts about the dairy industry. Additionally, campus Peer Nutrition Educators gave out dairy product prizes to students who played dairy nutrition trivia games! With hundreds of students in attendance, calf cuddling is becoming an staple event on campus.
