Calf Cuddling

In May 2026, we hosted our fifth annual Calf Cuddling event on Myers Quad, continuing a growing campus tradition. Our members halter-broke four calves from the University of Georgia Teaching Dairy to give students a much-needed opportunity to relax and recharge during finals week.

While attendees enjoyed a break from studying, they also had the chance to learn more about the dairy industry and the care that goes into raising these animals. With hundreds of students in attendance, Calf Cuddling Day has quickly become a staple event at the University of Georgia, blending education, outreach, and stress relief in a unique and memorable way.
